Large-scale battery storage systems optimise the integration of renewable energy into the power grid while simultaneously stabilising it. In doing so, they make a fundamental contribution to the climate targets and the associated energy policy of the Federal Government. We develop large-scale battery storage projects at various sites in Germany, thereby strengthening security of energy supply.
